Katsudon restaurant

Great food, great service, & great presentation for a great price! The breading was nicely crunchy and melted in my mouth. 10/10 would come back again. Friendly service too!

Kind service, and the best katsu I’ve had even compared to metro Vancouver. The inside was incredibly tender and the outside was just as crispy! Salad was also delicious; the sesame sauce was sweet and umami. Ice water is available as self-serve as well which is great on a hot day like today.

For the most part, I would recommend this place for their food. Been here a few times, have tried the Bulgogi burger, the chicken burger, pork loin katsu and the cheese katsu. All were fairly well made and tasty. I love their cabbage salads that come with all the katsu dishes. The one downside is the very limited and small menu. Everything is deep-fried, except the Bulgogi burger. The soup that comes with the combo may make a good broth for a noodle soup, but tastes rather odd if you sip it just on its own. Another thing is I wish their drink choices is more Asian centric instead of just the regular pops.

First time at this place and I was thrilled how great it was. It looks like a Korean type fast food. We had the traditional Korean burger and shared a portion of fries. The burger was simple, tasty and fresh. The fries tho... Prob best fries I ever had. I think they were battered in the katsu breading. They were super crispy on the outside and perfect with everything else. I'll go back here and can't wait to do it and try other stuff.

Staff were so friendly and attentive -- felt like they really care about the business and the guest experience. Atmosphere was cute and very casual, we went around 3pm and we were the only ones in there. Cheese katsu was a large portion and perfectly crispy with gooey cheese. I really liked the cabbage salad it came with. The bulgogi burger was sooooo messy but pretty tasty. It reminded me of a smash burger. One thing I will mention is everything had an element of sweetness (Katsu sauce, salad dressing, burger sauce) and wasn't balance by salt or spice. Would like to see more balance. Will definitely come back for takeout.

I came to Victoria on a work trip from Vancouver and I must say, this is the best tonkatsu I’ve ever had! I ordered the Chicken Katsu Combo, and it was delicious, and perfectly moist. They gave a generous portion size, and you could tell the ingredients were fresh based on how yummy it was! I believe they used fresh wasabi as well as opposed to horseradish which was a plus! I will definitely be back for more
